Every time I go to the bookstore, or Target or Urban Outfitters, or anywhere that has books, I usually come home with photos like this on my phone. Some just because I like the covers—the design, the colors, the typography, the concept. Some because I want to read it or buy it later. And, sometimes both.
I don't usually buy hardback books, so the ones I'm interested in reading right away I'll get on my iPad. But before I do, I download a sample. Did you know you could do that? It's such a great feature. They're usually 40 – 60 pages long. That's more than enough for me to know if I want to keep reading it.
This is what the "to read" section of the Library on my iPad looked like a few months ago. When I finish one book, I start reading samples until I find one that suits my mood. Because, you know, not every book is the right book at that exact moment.
And then there's this. I've already started some (and put them back down). Some I'm saving for the right time (again, with that). Some I wanted for the cover alone... the Haruki Murakami cover/jacket is insane. Regardless, I probably shouldn't go back to the bookstore anytime soon.
