While all other crafting has come to a standstill, this little pile continues to grow. In my mind I call it the "big ring of everything." It's home to all the bits and pieces I save that previously went into my art journal, mini-books or into the scrap drawer for later use. Instead I'm cutting them down and throwing it onto the big ring. Some have notes and dates, others don't. There's all sorts of things in there: business cards, tags from clothes, scraps of fabric, cards from friends, movie stubs, postcards from trips. It's fun to flip through, easy to do and it's helping keep down the clutter on my desk. In my way, it's the tiny, shortcutting cousin of Ali's killer Project Life book--minus the divided page protectors, sweet children and beautiful photography.
