I couldn't resist the lure of the December Daily any longer! When I pulled the photos off my camera on Saturday I realized that even though I hadn't intended to do it, I had been collecting photos and stories already. Stories being the operative word. I've never been a journaler, all my minis are bare save for a snippet here or a list there, but lately I've been feeling the urge to tell a story. I think Ali is finally rubbing off on me!
Instead of my usual collection of photos, Christmas cards and pretty paper, this year's christmas book is going to tell a story. The idea of an accordian-fold album has been percolating for a while in the back of my mind. It's the perfect shell for my foray into story telling, half photo-half text, and it's uncomplicated. Each page is 4x6, with half a photo, some Martha Stewart number stamps and a variety of patterned papers from my Duly Noted packs. I'm a little sad that I don't have a spot for including all the hangtags and cards people send me, maybe on the back or maybe not.
It's going to be really cool to see 31 days all stretched out in a line.
